Reports to: Front Gate Manager
OVERVIEW
The Front Gate Team Member is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all guests entering the venue, scanning and verifying tickets and authorized entry lists, resolving issues, answering questions, and assisting guests with entry as quickly and efficiently as possible. As the first line of contact for all guests, the Front Gate Team Member will provide a warm welcome to guests.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Always lead with kindness, safety, and outstanding customer service.
• Warmly greet customers as they arrive at the gates.
• Scan and validate all tickets, ensuring that each customer has a valid ticket for the event.
• Validate any authorized entry lists with a customer-supplied photo ID.
• Answer customer questions about the venue or event; if an answer is unknown, escalate the question to a supervisor.
• Direct customers through the gate quickly and efficiently.
• Be knowledgeable of the venue layout, venue policies, and prohibited items; courteously advise customers if any of their belongings violate any policies, and offer solutions to resolve.
• Ensure that all customers are receiving the proper credentials for entry.
• Assist event staff with customer banding, if necessary.
• Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
• Be available to assist customers with egress at the end of the event, if necessary.
• Maintain an entry area that is free of debris or waste.
• Assist Front Gate Manager with the placement and removal of all equipment, supplies, signage, and barricades, as necessary.
• Follow all venue policies including social media policies.
• Report all incidents, accidents, and customer feedback to Front Gate Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and depth perception.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to wet conditions, cold weather, wind, dust, dirt, humidity, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
